With last night’s lows in the 20’s, 32 feels like a heat wave this morning, but we’re headed for 50 degrees by the end of the day. Thankfully warmer weather is coming back this weekend, when we should have normal season temps in the high 60’s and low 70’s.
The 2011/2012 winter season was unusually warm with little snow. Less than 40″ fell in the area, compared with more than 140″ inches last year. For those businesses in that area catering to summer clientele, it’s been an early start to a great season.
Whitewater rafting has already started.
Rock climbing trips are underway.
Guided hikes picked up several weeks ago.
If April is an indication, the summer season is off to a great start and should be good for everyone. Remember, no matter what your interest, Banner Haven is close to all the High Country interests.
